WAPEWE is the art of giving which has been founded by a group of young level minded men and women of Kenya (mostly from Mombasa), who have come together to become warriors of WAPEWE. The war we are fighting against is poverty and famine.

In short, what we do at WAPEWE is empowering our fellow brothers and sisters in a sustainable manner, to better their lives and to help them come out of the mentality of "waiting to receive". We teach and preach to them "how to fish rather than to wait on the shore to be given fish", in other words, "hand-outs".
